Voltrade is a home services platform operated by GAM Administration LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England. Our platform connects homeowners with independent, self-employed tradespeople for plumbing, electrical, boiler, and appliance repair services.
By using voltrade.co.uk or booking a repair through our platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Voltrade is a platform, not a service provider. We connect customers with independent, self-employed engineers. Engineers on the Voltrade platform are not employees, agents, or subcontractors of Voltrade or GAM Administration LLP.
We verify qualifications, insurance, and (where applicable) Gas Safe registration before engineers are approved on the platform. However, the contractual relationship for the repair work itself is between you and the engineer.
When you book a repair through Voltrade, you are requesting that we match you with a qualified, available engineer in your area. We aim to confirm an engineer within 2 hours of your booking, but this is not guaranteed during busy periods or in areas with limited engineer coverage.
Booking confirmation is subject to engineer availability. If we cannot match you with an engineer for your requested date and time, we will offer alternative options or a full refund of any prepaid call-out fee.
All prices include VAT where applicable. GAM Administration LLP is not currently VAT registered.
All repairs completed through Voltrade come with a 90-day workmanship guarantee. If the same fault recurs within 90 days of the original repair, we will arrange for an engineer to return at no additional call-out cost. This guarantee covers the labour and workmanship only - it does not cover new or unrelated faults, parts that have failed due to normal wear, or damage caused by misuse.
To make a guarantee claim, contact us through your account dashboard or by email. We aim to arrange a return visit within 48 hours of a valid claim.
All engineers on the Voltrade platform are self-employed independent contractors. They are not employees of Voltrade or GAM Administration LLP. Engineers set their own call-out fees and hourly rates, carry their own public liability insurance, and hold their own trade qualifications. Voltrade verifies these credentials before approving engineers on the platform.
Voltrade's liability is limited to the value of the call-out fee paid for the specific booking in question. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or special damages arising from the use of our platform or the work carried out by engineers.
Engineers on the platform carry their own public liability insurance (minimum £2 million). Any claims relating to damage caused by repair work should be directed to the engineer's insurer in the first instance. Voltrade will assist in facilitating communication where possible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Voltrade uses AI-powered repair intelligence to estimate likely faults and parts needed. These AI estimates are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a definitive diagnosis. The engineer's on-site assessment takes precedence over any AI estimate. Voltrade accepts no liability for the accuracy of AI-generated estimates.

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Work with us Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. We collect only the data necessary to provide our services.
If you have a complaint about a repair or our service, please contact us first through your account dashboard. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days. If we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, you may refer the matter to an approved alternative dispute resolution provider.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
